Ultimate Fighting Championship conclude a record-breaking spectacle.
Saul “Canelo” Alvarez won Christian Mbill’s WBC super middleweight title by unanimous decision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday. McGregor then questioned the event’s audience, attendance and gate receipts. The former two-division UFC champion claimed he could beat other combat sports stars without even trying.
Conor McGregor promises to break his records in the last fight of his UFC contract
McGregor touted the commercial success of his last appearance and vowed to do more promotion for his next outing in the Octagon.
“How many views did the Canelo fight get?” McGregor wrote on X. “How much is there? Gate? Man, I outsell ALL of these people. Mainly. ALL ONE. Easily. Maybe even combined. I’m not even trying. I was in the semi-finals of the World Championship at the same time and I still did all those numbers in this last crap I’m fighting to sit out again a few months ago. My last fight.
McGregor (22-7) remains one of the biggest commercial entertainers in mixed martial arts history. “The Notorious” returned after a five-year hiatus to face off Max Holloway in July, but suffered a knee injury while throwing the opening kick and lost by TKO after 69 seconds.

I was at the same time as the World Cup semi-final and I still did all those numbers in this last piece of crap that I have to sit with for a few more months before I come back. I’m actually trying to sell my next fight. My last fight. See what numbers I can generate. Keep beating your records.
