WWE is less than a week away from Crown Jewel, which takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. and despite changing locations within the citymany continue to doubt should WWE hold the event as Riyadh continues to endure attacks by Houthi forces. But perhaps the most shocking voice coming out against the idea is former WCW and WWE star Perry Saturn. in a video on his YouTube channelSaturn was firm in his belief that WWE should keep the Crown Jewel elsewhere.
“They shouldn’t go there,” Saturn said. “If I’m a vetting terrorist, it’s a perfect target because I know all the Saudis will be there too, and they’re my enemy now too because they’re putting on a show with them. I think that’s stupid. And I’ve never been in a combat situation, and I consider that a huge success. I wouldn’t want to be in that situation… I don’t care if they fire me because I wouldn’t be surprised if they all die there.”
Saturn made it clear that he believed the show would eventually go off without a hitch, but that didn’t change his opinion that the show was a bad idea. In addition to the potential loss of life that could occur, Saturn also noted that the incident involving the talent could cause monetary problems for TKO.
“What if there’s a tragedy?” Saturn said: “How is TKO going to financially support all the families and scams if this happens they will go bankrupt because everyone is going to sue them?”
