Sterling said Miragliotta’s interference made him so angry that he considered entering the Octagon.
“I felt like I was close to rushing that cage,” Sterling said on his YouTube channel. “I was angry, I whined. Even this morning I dreamed: what made this man do such a thing? Criminal.”
Vallejos (18-1) jokingly claimed that UFC CEO Dana White had already told him that Miragliotta would be the referee against Sterling (26-5), whose fight involves heavy back control.
“Dana told me Dan Miragliotta would be my referee,” Vallejos wrote in response to Sterling’s criticism.
