WWE’s Paul Heyman Comments On Whether Or Not Vince McMahon Is A Good Man

Many agree that such a man will never exist Former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon in pro wrestling ever again. However, the adjectives used to describe McMahon vary from person to person. Having spent most of his tenure working under McMahon, Paul Heyman said regardless what did he think of her McMahon doesn’t seem to be the type to care what others think of his moral character.

“No, I don’t think Vince ever thought of himself as a good person. I don’t think he cared. I don’t think it was part of his self-judgment. I don’t think he was put on this planet to be a good person,” Heyman said frankly. “In Depth with Graham Bensinger”.

Expanding on that comment, Heyman noted that the hardest part of working for McMahon was keeping up with his ethic and vision, which the Hall of Famer described as “impossible” because the former CEO worked non-stop. However, he went on to say that McMahon’s work ethic was unmatched and that it was “inspiring” but “paralyzing” to Heyman.

In a later interview, Heyman described the heated exchanges he and McMahon had during their countless meetings about the business. He revealed that many F-bombs were thrown between them. Instead of taking the high road, McMahon enjoyed these confrontations, which Heyman called “baby fights.” The worst he could remember was McMahon baiting and switching his reputation during the ECW reboot in 2006.

“When we restarted ECW, he told me he was putting me in charge of it, and 30 seconds later (he) proceeded to strip me of any authority I had to control, outline, adapt or create the product,” Heyman responded.

Because of that interference, Heyman felt things were terrible for the product, the company, but most importantly, his fans. ECW Reboot closed its doors for good on February 16, 2010.
