PIF ATP Live Race to Turin, points from January 1, Monday morning. Sinner is out for the season, so 9th is the last spot. Mensik (2545) and Auger-Aliassime (2475) are not in the Paris draw.

Jah, you have no margin

Jodar is the only contender whose week could end in his first game. If he loses to Tabillo, he is out of the race. four men above him already have more than his 3,209 points, and none of them can lose a single point. A win would take him to 3,234 points, 24 ahead of de Minaur, who has a first-round bye.

Djokovic needs at least the semi-finals

Djokovic is 11th with 2900 points. Reaching the quarter-finals would take him to 3,090, which is still short of de Minaur’s current total, so the semi-finals (3,290) are the bare minimum to stay alive. The title would take him to 3,890 and guarantee his spot. Taylor Fritzwho opens against qualify Benjamin Bonzieis in the same situation: 3285 with semi-final, 3885 with rank.

What every aspirant needs

Cobolli ranks best. A run to the quarter-finals will secure his place no matter what happens elsewhere. Phils will need a semi-final while Tiafoe, de Minaur and Jodari need to reach the final to be confident in Turin. Djokovic, Fritz and Tommy Paul can secure their place only by winning the title.

What every aspirant needs in Paris

Player: Still alive if he arrives It is certain that Toury, if he arrives
Flavio Cobolli Already alive Quarter finals
Arthur son Already alive Semi-finals
Francis Tiafoe Already alive Final:
Alex de Minaur Already alive Final:
Rafael Jodar Second round (must win the first match) Final:
Novak Djokovic Semi-finals Title:
Taylor Fritz Semi-finals Title:
Tommy Paul Final: Title:
Jiri Lehecka Title: Even with the title
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina Title: Even with the title

“Sure of Turin”. qualified regardless of the other results, given the draw in Paris. Calculated from live race points for each round. A tie in points is considered inconclusive.

Further down, the chances are slimmer. Paul needs at least a final to stay in contention. Jiri LeheckaBeating Vaccherotti and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the Basel final, who competes with Brest champion Moise Kouameone can only hope with the title, and even that alone will not be enough; it will depend on the results of others.

Four possible fights in the third round

The draw has placed four pairs of contenders in the same section, and a meeting is possible in the third round. Djokovic vs. de Minaur, Paul vs. Tiafoe, Jodar vs. Kobolli, and Fritz vs. Fils, a rematch from last week. Basel quarter-finals. Djokovic, Paul, Jodar and Fritz would need two wins to get there, de Minaur, Tiafoe, Cobolli and Fils one. Separated by one point, De Minaur and Jodar are in opposite halves and can only meet in the final.

“1st out”. loses his first match. R16, QF, SF, F. total if he gets to that stage. W: with a common title. For Jodar, Djokovic, Fritz, Paul, Lehecka and Davydovic Fokina, reaching the R16 means winning two matches; goodbye seeds need.
