Osbourne said defending Durden’s spin attempt left him in pain and would sap his stamina for the rest of the match. Despite admitting how deep the submission was, he remained adamant that he didn’t knock, even if he might injure his back.
The “Jamaican Sensation” said he plans to have his back examined and hopes to avoid serious injury. He also promised to come back stronger.
“It was hard to fight after the first round,” Osbourne said on Instagram. “He put me in a deep, deep, deep vortex. Shout out to Cody Durden. The vortex he got me in definitely made it hard for me for the duration of the fight. Because my No. 1 body was so sore and it took a lot of the wind out of me. But we’re coming back stronger, better. He definitely didn’t want to hit me. But I thought he wanted to hit me. But I thought he wanted to hit me. thinking to myself: “Yo, this wringer is deep, but I have to break my back, because I’m not going to knock. I hope it’s not too bad. But I have to have my back checked.”
