Chad Gable is on a career run after returning from injury at the 2026 Royal Rumble: a mask vs. mask match against El Grande Americanoher Win the Intercontinental Championship at WWE SummerSlam. But his success hit a roadblock when he did dethroned Ethan Page on the Nov. 2 edition of “WWE Raw.”
Gable In a question and answer video on Instagram on Friday and addressed the damage to Page. He explained to fans that he had just finished training and was on day four or five of his current WWE journey.
“Besides losing my Intercontinental Championship, it’s been an incredible journey,” he said. “But we’re going to look at it, we’re going to get it back and we’re going to deal with it, you have my word.”
The star fielded a few questions from fans, including what advice he would give to wrestlers just starting out. He said his first piece of advice happens outside the ring. Gable said to first figure out who you are as a person, then ask how that quality translates in the ring.
Gable also talked about his favorite tag team match with former partner Jason Jordan. The pair teamed for nearly two years and won the NXT Tag Team Championships as well as the SmackDown tag titles.
“There was one night in Blackpool, England, where the crowd used a football for my name,” he said. “They were doing it over and over to this song that we’d never heard before the bell rang. It was one of those magical nights. The arena was great and just the atmosphere, it was something we’ve just never experienced. I think Jason and I both felt like we took a huge leap forward that night in terms of just connecting with chemistry.
