during the speechThe Mick And Kenny ShowCopeland looked back on his WWE career and revealed the moment he believed he became a star. “To answer your question about the first star moment, it was actually in Cleveland. No Mercy, ladder match against The Hardys; it was the first match ever on the team ladder,” he recalled. “When we got to the back and went through the curtain, Mick (Foley) came up to all of us and said, “We’re going to go back.” “You just became stars!”
Copeland added that the praise from someone like Foley made it all the more meaningful to them, even though they weren’t deafened by the audience’s roaring response. “When you start hearing it from your peers, that’s when you know you’ve kind of made a mark,” he added. “So for me, that match was the one that really set us on our way.”
Another memorable moment in Copeland’s WWE career saw him jump off the ladder to spear Jeff Hardy At WrestleMania X-Seven, in their TLC Match for the World Tag Team Championship. Copeland shared that she wasn’t too nervous before the jump. “To be honest, I haven’t thought about it, to be honest, you just have to go,” he said. “I don’t think Jeff Hardy understands what fear is, so I don’t think he was scared.”
