Interim head coach Dave Butcher named 32 players Scotland the detachment to which they will travel Australia to play the Wallaroos in two Tests.
In October, Scotland did not win any of the three Test matches they played. Heavy losses for Canada and the Black Ferns were following a 30-10 loss to Australia in Edinburgh, with Scotland hoping they could turn the tide in their three-match series at the Wallaroos.
The squad is without Emma Wassell and Alex Stewart, who picked up injuries at the end of the campaign. There is a spot for Rachel Philipps who is back after going through concussion protocols.
Lucia Scott is included after being ruled out of September’s Test matches due to injury. There are also places for recently played Ceitidh Ainsworth and Katie Buchanan, while Imogen Spence and Nicole Flynn are the only uncapped players in the squad.
Rachel Malcolm continued to captain the team as they sought just their second win of the calendar year.
