The Panthers are getting some players back on the practice field this week.
Head coach Dave Canales told reporters at his press conference Monday that offensive tackle Taylor Moton and linebacker Turk Wharton will open their 21-day practice windows this week.
Moton is on the non-football illness list because of a blood clot, while Wharton is on the physically unable to perform list because of a back injury.
The Panthers are thin on the offensive line, especially as rookie tackle Monroe Freeling deals with a knee injury.
Additionally, Canales said linebacker Jaelan Phillips has a chance to play against the Eagles on Sunday as he deals with a hamstring injury.
