The Buccaneers elevated linebacker Caden Fordham and quarterback Easton Stick from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Packers, the team announced.
This is the first height for Fordham and Stick.
Stick will serve as the backup to rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels, who will make his NFL debut in place of Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield will miss at least three weeks with a dislocated right thumb.
Stick signed with the Buccaneers’ practice squad on August 31.
Fordham signed with the Buccaneers as a rookie free agent in May and was initially named to the team’s 53-man roster. The Bucs, however, waived him on Sept. 2 after claiming cornerback Kevin Knowles from Kansas City. Fordham then re-signed to the practice squad.
