PWIE was the first to report earlier Friday that the company had cut staff to produce the show. Production work, including graphics and audio mixing, will reportedly be handled primarily in Stamford. The paper reports that camera and sound crews are live in Riyadh to return to WWE headquarters for final touches before the show goes live. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select earlier reported that WWE crew members have been offered hazard payIn the amount of 3,000 USD, Riyadh for the Crown Jewel.
Another recent report revealed it in a recent publication Wrestling Observer Newsletter: that it was the Saudi government’s decision, not TKO’s or WWE’s move the Crown Jewel from its temporary outdoor location to ANB Arena, indoor venue. Dave Meltzer noted in the report that the arena could seat 6,000 fans, less than if the show had gone on elsewhere.
