Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard returned to practice Wednesday, and the Eagles’ practice report shows he was limited.
This was expected as he was coming back from a chest injury.
Greenard missed all of training camp after straining a pectoral muscle while lifting weights earlier in the summer. He went on the active/physically unable to perform list but chose not to move him to the reserve/PUP.
That indicates the Eagles expect Greenard to play sometime in the first four weeks.
The Eagles traded for Greenard in April, sending two third-round picks to the Vikings for the All-Star. Philadelphia then signed him to a four-year, $100 million extension.
Rookie tight end Eli Stowers (hamstring) was the only other player on the team’s injury report. He was also limited.
