PDC Women’s Series: Beau Greaves ends season with highest event-winning average in tournament history | Darts News

Beau Greaves completed her 2026 PDC Women’s Series season with a record winning streak en route to two tournament wins in Event 23 and 24 in Wigan.

Greaves – who had already won back-to-back titles in Events 21 and 22 on Saturday – averaged 98.75 en route to her third consecutive event title in Event 23, marking the highest average event winner in Women’s Series history.

The Yorkshire native – who has won 17 of a possible 24 Women’s Series events this year – won all four of her first four matches 4-0, averaging a stunning 103.66 in her win against Steph Clark.

Chris Murphy suggests Beau Greaves should be given more opportunities to play against the men after she won the Women’s World Cup once again.

She lost the first games of the day in her 5-2 win against Gemma Hayter in the quarter-finals, before beating Fallon Sherrock – who confirmed her return to the World Darts Championship on Saturday – in the semi-finals.

Her 5-3 victory against Jade Gofford in the final confirmed her first title of the day, before she beat Laura van den Berg, Sara Walton, Vicky Martin and Lauren Bloomfield to reach the quarter-finals of the 24-event.

Victories against Kirsty Hutchinson and 20-year-old Italian Aurora Fochesato confirmed her second title of the day and fourth of the weekend to cap off a successful 2026 season.

“It felt good,” Greaves said. “I was happy with the first race. I had some good averages and then I played enough in the second race.

“I knew I hadn’t been playing at my best lately, but I had some good moments today and I’m ready to build on that and take this to the end of the year.”

Wigan’s double-header also saw Vicky Pruim clinch the final bid to compete in the World Darts Championship through the Women’s Series rankings, joining Greaves, Sherrock, Hayter and Lisa Ashton.
