ADCC assays the season has already startedwhere thousands of talented wrestlers from different continents compete for slots ADCC 2026 World Championship.
While the most recent iterations have been held in the US, the prestigious biennial fighting event takes place at the Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland. ADCC 2026 will be held on 12-13 in September 2026 and with the first invitations already being distributed, it is worth keeping an eye on the confirmed contestants for the highly anticipated event.
The ADCC World Championship is usually headlined by the reigning Super Fight Champion defending his belt against the winner of the previous absolute tournament. It should be Gordon Ryan vs. ADCC 2024 Double Gold Kaynan Duartebut together Ryan seemed retiredThe ADCC 2026 title still appears to be up in the air as of this writing.

December 7, 2025: Added 5 new invitations ADCC Asia and Oceania Trials Winners. 15 wrestlers are now confirmed for ADCC 2026.
February 5, 2026: All eight reigning ADCC champions have been confirmed for the ADCC 2026 invite.
February 16, 2026: Added 8 winners 2. ADCC EMEA trials.
March 13, 2026: Fabricio Andrei and Mateusz Gamrot are both invited to ADCC 2026 at 66kg and 77kg respectively.
March 15, 2026: Added 5 winners from the 1st ADCC South American Trials.
March 19, 2026: Added Adam Wardzinskiwho is called -99 kg.
March 22, 2026: Added 8 winners from the 2nd ADCC South American Trials.
April 17, 2026: Added the last two Polaris Champion Summons Mateusz Szczecinski 77 kg and a returning BJJ legend Gabi Garcia for women’s over 65 kg subgroup.
20 April 2026: Added 8 winners from the ADCC West Coast Trials.
July 1, 2026: The full ADCC 2026 fight card has been revealed and along with Gordon Ryan retiredthe main event superfight is now between the last two ADCC absolute champions Kaynan Duarte vs. Yuri Simoes. There are also a few notable absences, such as the reigning ADCC champions Mica Galvao, Diogo Reis and Giancarlo Bodoni. Not any UFC BJJ champion will join.
July 21, 2026: ADCC has (finally) removed Izaak Michell, who is wanted by authorities for sexual assault. Adele Fornarino is also out, shortly after news of her booking in the UFC BJJ flyweight tournament. They are replaced by the following Taylor Pearman and Valerie Hamiltonrespectively.
August 21, 2026: ADCC updated their roster a few days ago, removing the likes of another reigning champion for the year. Rafaela Guedesplus BJJ stars Jacob Rodriguez and Josh Cisneros. The reason was not initially stated, however It has now been revealed that ‘Jay Rod’ has left ADCC 2026 to compete at UFC BJJ 11.
Reportedly replacing Guedes is decorated Gabi Pessanhawho is now seeking a rare Super Grand Slam title after winning every major event in the IBJJF gi. It also begs the question why the 12-time world champion wasn’t among the first people they invited. Now two slots need to be filled, 66 kg and 88 kg respectively.
1 September 2026: Gavin Corbe and Lucas Kanard has stepped in at short notice, filling the last two spots at 66kg and 88kg respectively. The ADCC 2026 fight card is now officially complete.
September 7, 2026: There were two more late changes near the event Gabi Garcia and Pedro Marinho are both out. Their replacement at very short notice is Nia Blackman and Mateusz Mazur.
ADCC 2026 World Championship – How to watch, live stream
ADCC 2026 will be held on 12-13 September 2026 in Krakow, Poland.
Broadcast details and start times have not yet been announced, but ADCC 2026 is expected to be streamed live on FloGrappling, with earlier episodes of the event likely to be streamed live on YouTube for free. We will update this section as details become available.
