Johnny Walker scored the biggest win of his career earlier tonight (Saturday, November 7, 2026) at UFC Vegas 124 LIVE on Paramount+ from Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping heavyweight Waldo Cortes-Acosta with a wild third-round TKO (head kick and punches) in the main event.
It was an exciting heavyweight entry from the opening bell. Enjoying the height and reach advantage, Walker went wild with kicks early on as Cortes-Acosta threw. That didn’t stop Cortes-Acosta, however, as the heavyweight contender pressed on and chased Walker with combinations. Walker was beaten at one point but it was short lived and he bounced back nicely to get into danger after that.
Walker was able to maintain enough energy to start an attack midway through the third round. He initially hit a header over the top that touched Cortes-Acosta just enough to hurt him. Walker then followed it up with a short backfist that had Cortes-Acosta on wobbly legs. This left him stumbling backwards over the cage as Walker followed with a thunderous right hand. Cortes-Acosta fell to the canvas, Walker landed another brutal kick, and the referee rushed as fast as he could to stop the action.
