Fury recently took to social media to challenge Usyk after his Nov. 20 heavyweight clash with Joshua failed to materialize. Negotiations stalled over the location and extent of TKO’s involvement. The “Gypsy King” has now revealed that getting it back together with Usyk is his top priority.
Tyson Fury is demanding a third Oleksandr Usyk fight after negotiations with Anthony Joshua reached an impasse
Fury’s side wanted the fight to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, while Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn campaigned for the all-English clash to take place in London. Fury has now invited Usyk to a third meeting in November, noting that the Ukrainian had already agreed to face him twice.
“Trilogy in the making (Usyk). Land of real men, time to get it back!” Fury wrote in his Instagram post. “The last dance between the warriors of the modern world, coming soon.”
Usyk has responded by saying he’s open to a trilogy.
“Hey Tyson. I’m coming after you, my brother. You’re a glutton!”
