Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight belt.
Aspinall relinquished the title after eye complications prevented him from being medically cleared to return to the Octagon. Hokit claims there is a match between him and the Interim Champion Cyril Gane
should now determine the next heavyweight king.
Josh Hokit takes aim at Ciryl Gane as the UFC’s heavyweight division moves on from Tom Aspinall
Shortly after Aspinall announced his decision to vacate the heavyweight title, Hokkit took to social media to challenge Gane.
“Fans deserve Mina vs Gane,” Hokit Xs wrote. “I’ll give Ciryl what’s coming to him. If Alex can win one fight in my weight class, I’ll give it to him at the start of 27. I’ll be the most active champion in the company.”
Both Gane and Hokit scored stoppage victories at
UFC Freedom 250where “Bon Gamin” won Alex Pereira win the interim heavyweight title and “The Incredible Hok” was eliminated Derrick Lewis.
Namely, Pereira has also invited Gane. “Poatan” recently took to Instagram to campaign for a rematch with the Frenchman, claiming that illegal shots to the back of his head played a central role in the final sequence of the clash at a White House event.
The fans deserve Mina vs Gane. I’ll give Ciryl what she’s got.
If Alex can win 1 fight in my weight class, I’ll give it to him too, early ’27.
I will be the most active champion in the party. https://t.co/fdtRFTL2G8– Incredible Hok (@Josh_HokitUFC)
