The Cardinals are working on a trade for receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., with the destination currently unknown.
According to multiple sources, speculation now centers on the Texans.
For whatever reason, the Cardinals are keeping it under wraps. They could be hoping to get someone else to make a better offer, or they could be hoping to squeeze a little more out of the Texans before a deal is made.
The trade, if it happens, would reunite Harrison with Texans quarterback CJ Stroud. They spent many years together at Ohio State.
The package is expected to include a second-round pick. The Texans, we’re told, had offered a second-round pick in 2028. The Cardinals have asked for a second-round pick in 2027.
It seems inevitable at this point that Harrison will be traded; the cat escaped the bag well. And it shouldn’t surprise anyone if/when it’s the Texans — unless some other team out there makes a late play with a better package of picks.
