He also talked about why it was important to him to take the team out of their comfort zone during the Nuggets’ minicamp in Puerto Rico, as well as his reaction to leaving Peyton Watson.
“This is my uncle but it’s deeper than basketball with Peyton and mehe said.Our families go to the same church, Peyton, and so does my brother. I am happy for him, for the situation in which he found himself. Of course we would have liked to have had one, but everything worked out the way it was supposed to. That’s how it should be.”
