The Clippers filled a spot on their 21-man preseason roster by signing a free agent wing Yakhmil Telfort to an Exhibition 10 contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Telfort, who went undrafted out of Butler in 2025, also signed an Supplement 10 deal with the Clippers last fall. He turned that deal into a two-way contract on the eve of the opener and remained on the Los Angeles roster until December, when he was cut to make room for Ray Jay Dennis.
Telfort played just 32 minutes in eight NBA games, but was a regular for the San Diego Clippers in the G League in his first professional season. In 47 G League games, he averaged 14.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 33.9 minutes per game. 0.439/0.331/0.743.
The 6-foot-7 swingman was part of the Clippers’ Summer League squad for the second straight year in July and looks set to return to San Diego this fall. His Exhibit 10 contract will entitle him to a bonus of up to $91,000 on top of his base salary if he spends at least 60 days in the G League.
