The NFL has made official the two-game suspension of Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson.
Jackson will miss games against the Cardinals and Raiders.
He can appeal, with Derrick Brooks, Jordy Nelson, Ron Rivera or James Thrash hearing Jackson’s appeal and making a decision.
Jackson threw a right tackle at Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb after the Rams’ 37-34 overtime loss Monday night.
ESPN cameras caught Jackson exchanging jerseys with Bills linebacker Deone Walker at midfield when Chubb appeared to say something to Jackson. Jackson punched Chubb in the face with his right hand before Rams tight end Colby Parkinson pulled Jackson.
Chubb called it “just emotion” after the game.
Jackson has started all five games this season and missed just one game last season.
