After a 2-0 start to the 2026 season, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have lost their third straight game.
The last loss came at home to No. 10 Texas Tech, 29-7.
Colorado led at halftime, 7-3. The Red Raiders pulled away after intermission.
The Buffaloes had turnovers on four straight possessions.
Colorado scored to open the game and did not score again.
Isaac Wilson, brother of NFL quarterback Zach Wilson, started at quarterback over Julian Lewis. Wilson had three interceptions on the night.
For the Buffaloes, the season-opening win at Georgia Tech is a fading memory. After Colorado are the games against No. 13 Utah and No. 19 Oklahoma State. Which means 2-3 can become 2-5.
If the current trend continues, it’s fair to wonder if Deion will return for a fifth season in 2027.
