The Bykov made a couple of moves, refusing Markel Sutton and signing Jalen Bridgesannounced the team (via Twitter).
Sutton, a 6’7″ forward who played for LSU last season, signed with Chicago on Saturday after playing in the Summer League with the Kings, with whom he averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds on .512/.389/.800 shooting through eight games.
Bridges, another 6-foot-7 wing, played 30.4 minutes in eight games for the Suns two years ago. He was signed and waived by the Celtics last season before spending most of last season with the Red Claws, where he averaged 14.1 points and 1.5 steals in 32.5 minutes per game while shooting 37.2% from three.
Sutton will now be eligible for a bonus of up to $91,000 on top of his NBAGL base salary if he spends at least 60 days with the Windy City Bulls. Bridges, 25, is also likely to be eligible if he is waived before the season begins.
