The Bykov will acquire Buddy Hield and funds from art Hornets in exchange for Rob Dillinghamsources tell ESPN’s Shamsu Charania (Link to Twitter).
It’s the second trade of the week for Hield, who was sent from Atlanta to Charlotte on Tuesday. ESPN’s Bobby Marks points out that his salary is not being combined with another player.Link to Twitter).
Chicago will get a little more salary with Hield, who will make $9.7 million this season and has a $10.1 million player option for 2027-28. Dillingham, still under his rookie contract, is owed $6.9 million this season and has an $8.8 million team option for next year that must be exercised by Nov. 2.
