After creating an opening in your training camp list rejection Peter Suder, Bykov signed Isaiah Stevens to take that 21st spot, the team announced tonight (Link to Twitter).
Although the terms of Stevens’ deal were not disclosed, he likely signed a non-guaranteed training camp deal with an Addendum 10. If he is waived before the start of the season, he could earn a bonus of up to $91,000 on top of his regular G League salary if he spends at least 60 days with the Windy City Bulls.
Annex 10 contracts can also be converted to two-way deals, and Stevens has some experience with such deals, which are non-guaranteed and cost half the rookie minimum (roughly $679K this season).
Stevens, who went to college with Colorado State, went undrafted in 2024 and initially signed an Amendment 10 deal with Miami before being waived before the 2024-25 campaign. He signed a two-way deal with the Heat in December 2024 and completed his rookie season under that contract.
The 5-foot-11 point guard signed a two-way deal with the Kings in the 2025 offseason from Miami. The 25-year-old spent the entire 2025-26 season on that two-way deal, but only made three NBA appearances in his first year.
Stevens was refused Sacramento in late July.
While Stevens’ role in the NBA has been fairly modest up to this point, he has been a productive player in the G League each of the past two seasons. In 33 combined games (33.6 minutes per game) with the Stockton Kings in ’25/26, the 25-year-old averaged 14.5 points, 8.6 assists (vs. 2.6 turnovers), 3.4 rebounds and 0.8 steals on .470/.292/.850 shooting.
