It was so close but so far for Kyle Fletcher at AEW WrestleDream. as he and Kevin Knight were unable to put aside the Young Bucks to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship. And Fletcher knows who is to blame for the result. Knight. In his YouTube vlog eight days agoFletcher filmed himself poolside early the morning after WrestleDream and talked about the match, the loss, and called out his partner when he accused him of blowing the match.
“What a very big day, what a very big day,” Fletcher said. The game with the Young Bucks went really well, it was a fun time. We didn’t win championships because Kevin Knight is a stupid doodoo head. And I’ll have very kind words for that man, because I should have been a world champion. love this shit.
Fletcher may have a point, as he and Knight appeared to be in control of the match when Knight found himself much to Fletcher’s confusion. The match then went downhill from that point, with Knight eventually eating a Bucks double takedown and a BTE trigger to secure their successful defense. Meanwhile, Fletcher has shown no ill will towards Knight since then and has is set to challenge Will Ospreay at Full Gear for the AEW Men’s World Championshiphe and Knight had previously been at odds during the summer months before finding their place after Don Callis brought them together as a team.
