Terence Crawford challenges Jaron Ennis as comeback speculation mounts
Crawford (42-0) announced his retirement last December, however, after defeating Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. With the win, he became the undisputed champion in three weight divisions. The undefeated 38-year-old recently teased a return to action, with Jaron “Boots” Ennis (36-0) seemingly in his sights.
White was asked about the same during his recent appearance on the “Night Cap” podcast.
“If I went to Crawford with the right fight, Crawford would fight,” White said.
Crawford recently took to social media to tease Ennis, marking the first since he announced his retirement last year. The latter answered in the affirmative.
“I want to see something! You want to see me come back and fight this bad, don’t you?” Crawford wrote on X, “(Ennis) would you fight me next when I come out of retirement?”
