When play was suspended due to darkness Thursday night in Mexico, only one player was at the top of the leaderboard: Chris Kirk.
U six-time PGA Tour winner he hasn’t captured a win since January 2024, but he looks to have a good chance of ending that drought after his first game.
Kirk’s spotless scorecard featured nine birdies at the Corso El Cardonal designed by Tiger Woodshe gives them one shot lead.
