Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham has been called up today England team alongside his brother Jude.
Bellingham has performed well for Dortmund this season Niko Kovac’s second team in the Bundesligabehind Bayern Munich only on goal difference.
The 21-year-old moved to Germany, following the same career as his older brother, from Sunderland in 2025 after helping the Black Cats to promotion to the Premier League.
Josh King also received a first call-up after starring for Fulham, while Arsenal pair Declan Rice and Ben White returned to the squad.
The headline omissions are Cole Palmer and Phil Foden. Palmer was pulled from the latest England squad with a frustrated Thomas Tuchel claiming the Chelsea star is “missing too many opportunities” to play for his country.
Palmer has won just 14 games for the Three Lions but continues to shine at club level with three goals and three assists in nine games for Chelsea this season.
Foden has not played for England since March.
England conclude their Nations League campaign with matches against Croatia and Spain.
Croatia visit Wembley next Thursday before England head to Madrid the following Sunday. Tuchel’s men are second in Group C and know that if they avoid defeat against Croatia, that will be enough to secure their place in the quarter-finals. To finish top of the group, England would need to win both games and ensure they had a higher goal difference than Spain.
