Here’s what you need to know about the Dodgers-Brewers series odds:
NL Championship Series: The Brewers lead the series 1-0.
How they got here: Both the Brewers and Dodgers enjoyed wild-card round honors, and both won their respective division-round series in four games. Milwaukee beat San Diego and LA beat Atlanta.
Game 1: This one has the potential to be a classic. Both teams started their ace (one of many for LA), and while Tarik Skubal struck out seven in five innings, he gave up a run in the fourth and one in the fifth. Jacob Misiorowski only pitched 4.1 innings, but he struck out five and allowed just one run. And that was all she wrote.
Playoff History: Since the year In 2018, the Brewers have made the playoffs in seven of the last eight seasons with the lone exception of 2022. In that span, they reached the NLCS three times (2018, 2025 and 2026). The last time Milwaukee made the World Series was in 1982, when they lost in seven games to the Cardinals. Never won the World Series. Meanwhile, LA has won three of the last six World Series, including the last two. Since 2013, the Dodgers have reached the NLCS at least nine times (including this season) and have gone to the World Series five times. In terms of recent history, these two teams faced off in the NLCS last season and it was not competitive. The Dodgers swept the Brewers, outscoring them 15-4 in four games. The most memorable aspect of that series? Game 4, when Shohei Ohtani played on the mound and at the plate. The Dodgers superstar struck out 10 and allowed two hits in six innings, and also hit three home runs.
