For the first time ever, the United Center in Chicago, Illinois will host an episode of WWE television. November 4, local official X (formerly known as Twitter) account released a teaser video related to WWE’s announcement, and on November 5, it was confirmed that the home of the Chicago Bulls would host the January 11, 2027 episode of WWE Raw.

The United Center has previously hosted WWE events such as 2026 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, as well as 1994 SummerSlam pay per view. However, outside of those two events, WWE has only ever held house shows at the United Center, but that will all change in the new year.
The video shared on social media was not just posted by the United Center media team, as several other locations in North America posted the same video on their respective social media pages, such as WWE previously announced its first set of events for 2027.
On January 1, WWE will host a special New Year’s Eve event at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota to conclude the company’s holiday tour. This will be followed by the first WWE Raw episode of the new year on January 4th at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Later that week, the first live WWE SmackDown will air from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee on January 8th, followed by the United Center show on January 11th.
After a European tour in late January, the SmackDown episode will take place at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon on January 29, and the Road to Royal Rumble live event will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on January 30. The last episode of “Raw” will take place in 2027 at the Sea in Washington, Cl. The first Raw since the Royal Rumble will be broadcast live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and the February 12 episode of SmackDown will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The month of Raw will be the February 15th episode at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and the February 22nd episode at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.
