UFC Vegas 124 lost the fight, but the matchmakers found a replacement.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight prospect Austin Debt was destined to face Lucas Brennan this weekend (Saturday, November 7, 2026) at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. But Brennan withdrew after suffering a complete ACL tear.
Bashi remains on the card and now welcomes the Fury FC featherweight champion Carlos Calderon Octagon with only four days notice.
Heavy.com was the first to report the replacement.
The 25-year-old suffered his first professional loss Christian Rodriguez in his UFC debut before being pinned in the first round John Yannis (watch the highlights). Bashi then dropped a tough unanimous decision Jose Delgado July at UFC Oklahoma City, leaving him 1-2.
Saturday’s bout carries added tension as it is Bash’s final fight under his current UFC contract. A convincing win would strengthen his case for a new contract, while a third defeat in four of eight matches could jeopardize his future with promotion.
Calderon (11-4) enters the UFC as the reigning Fury FC featherweight champion.
“The Chief” captured the belt by submitting the longtime UFC veteran Damon Jackson with a fourth round rear naked choke. He successfully defended the title last month by defeating Lorram Esteves by unanimous decision over five rounds.
Calderon is riding a three-game winning streak and has won five of the last six meetings. The 31-year-old is finishing at 73 percent, with six of his 11 professional wins coming by submission.
