Ferguson had the more dramatic night, defending his Misfits Middleweight Championship with a second-round TKO of Sebie at the 42-second mark. Sebie dropped the former UFC interim champion early in the second round, but Ferguson quickly recovered and responded with a flurry of punches that forced the referee to stop the contest.
Both fighters switched opponents late. Ferguson’s original opponent, Kenzo Biyong, was forced out of the bout, while Cejudo’s original opponent, Nurideen Shabazz, also withdrew from the event.
