The Patriots are determined to bring one of their best offensive linemen back to practice on Wednesday.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Mack Hollins is expected to return to the field. Hollins has missed the last four games while on injured reserve with a calf injury, and a return to practice Wednesday would open a 21-day window for him to practice before being activated or shut down for the season.
Hollins could be activated at any point in that window, so he could play as soon as this Sunday against the Packers.
Hollins had 15 catches for 209 yards in New England’s first four games this season.
The Patriots also have Romeo Doubs on injured reserve and AJ Brown missed Week 8 with a knee injury.
