UFC 332 October 3 against Bernardo Sopai.
McGhee admits he agreed to play Sopai (13-3) to stay active. He believes that the loss to Yan led to a recent decline in his standings and that the UFC has rejected him since the defeat.

I just think the UFC decides who they want to fight and who they don’t. Because me and Payton Talbott are both on this card. Raoni Barcelos fought last week. There’s a lot of guys, but they make their games for whatever reason, but they make their games for whatever reason, because they feel like they’ve been since they’ve fought me back. So I’m going to keep doing my job, I’m going to keep performance, I will continue to win these battles.
