The former KSW champion steps into the lightweight mainstay Dan Hooker in his first fight in the promotion of the world marquis. Both men did not have to make weight for their five-round fight. Every other mixed martial artist on the card also weighed in as all 14 fights are now official.
Parnasse (23-2) joins a rare class of UFC debutants who headlined their first event. The 28-year-old is one of the promotion’s biggest free agent signings in recent years. The French fighter is riding a five-fight winning streak, which also includes a knockout
Kenneth Cross, Marcin Held
and Marian Ziolkowski. The Atch Academy product weighed 155 pounds at the point.
Hooker (24-14) wants to spoil the debut of the French fighter. “The Hangman” is in desperate need of a win after back-to-back setbacks Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit St Denis. The New Zealand fighter is now 36 years old, so he will be keen to show that he still has more left in the tank. Hooker also weighed exactly 155 pounds.
UFC Paris will air in its entirety live on Paramount+. Prelims begin at 12 PM ET/9 AM PT, while the main card begins at 3 PM ET/12 PM PT.
