Butler signed non-guaranteed training camp deal with Atlanta last week, a contract that likely featured Exhibit 10. He should be on track to earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if he spends at least 60 days with the College Park Skyhawks of the NBA G League.
Butler, who played four years at San Diego State and one at Kentucky before going undrafted in 2025, signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Atlanta last fall and was opted out of the 2025-26 season. However, he never suited up for College Park, being deactivated before the NBAGL season opener.
In his final collegiate season with Kentucky in 2024-25, Butler averaged 11.4 points, 4.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 26.0 minutes per game in 27 appearances. His shooting range was .498/.391/.735.
