The show aired the result of the previous day’s Sunday Night Main Event special.
According to Wrestlenomicswith data from NetflixThe Sept. 7 episode of Raw drew 2.6 million global views over seven days. Since the August 31st episode did not chart on Netflix, no viewership information was publicly available. August 24th edition of the show garnered 2.5 million views worldwide within seven days.
For English-language TV shows, Raw ranked seventh worldwide and fifth in the United States. In the States, the top three spots on the chart were “Death of the Pastor’s Wife,” InstaDoc’s “The Decoy Plane” and the second season of “The Gentlemen.”
The show opened with a fully reunited Vision Bronson Reed returned to Sunday Night’s Main Event assist Bron Breaker against Oba Femi. After Otis defeated Austin Theor, Femi ran to help but was beaten by the faction. The segment ended with The Vision standing over Kanon.
Elsewhere on the episode, Liv Morgan successfully defended her Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Walker, while Breaker and Sol Rucka qualified for their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. At the end of the show, The 446 set the Usos and Jacob Fatu’s rental car on fire as Bloodline watched the destruction from the ring on the throne.
