27 October: General ticket sales have opened for next month’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, with fans able to watch multiple games for QAR20 (£4.20) as the expanded 48-team tournament returns to Doha.
The public sale follows last week’s Visa pre-sale and covers all 104 matches between November 19th and December 13th.
The majority of matches will again be concentrated at the Aspire Zone Competition Complex, where up to eight matches can be held on the same day to maintain the demanding schedule.
FIFA has retained the Day Pass system introduced for the first edition of 48 teams last year. A QAR20 pass gives access to matches at six grounds on a selected match day, with seats allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prime tickets, priced at QAR35, add a reserved seat in one of the two prime plots for high-demand fixtures. Only the group stage will have eight matches a day during its first days.
The final will move away from the Aspire Zone at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium on December 13, with tickets currently priced at QAR30 for Category 1 and QAR15 for Category 2.
Qatar is hosting the tournament for the second consecutive year as part of a five-time deal with FIFA until 2029. The competition expanded from 24 to 48 teams last year, creating a 104-match schedule designed around the compact Aspire Zone venue.
Hosts Qatar have been drawn alongside Egypt, Greece and Panama in Group A and will kick off against Panama on November 19.
The general sale marks the next stage of preparation after Visa’s initial window opens on October 19. FIFA has also started promoting the tournament domestically, with the U-17 World Cup trophy set to begin a tour of Qatar this week.
All tickets are digital, while accessible tickets include a free companion seat.
