The Lions lost linebacker Devin White and receiver/returner Tom Kennedy to injuries Sunday in Arizona, and both appear likely to miss some time, but not the entire season.
Lions coach Dan Campbell did not have a definitive diagnosis but indicated he was concerned about both.
“I think Devin is going to need surgery, broken forearm,” Campbell said. “It’s unfortunate. I hate him because he was doing some good things for us.”
Campbell had similar thoughts about Kennedy.
“TK, it doesn’t look good. As far as anything short-term, we’ll know a lot more tomorrow. I think it could be a sprain, somewhere in there, pretty good sprain,” Campbell said.
Campbell indicated that the two will be back before the season ends.
“Neither of them are going to be here for a while. I hate that. Both players have done a good job for us,” Campbell said. “I don’t think it will be long term. We will miss them for a while.”
