Bears coach Ben Johnson has made it clear he doesn’t like the Packers. Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur has given the Bears plenty of reasons to dislike the Packers.
Since taking over as Packers coach in 2019, LaFleur has a 12-3 record against the Bears, including the postseason. His 80 percent win rate is the highest any coach has ever compiled against the Bears, with a minimum of 10 games played.
Johnson, of course, has won the last two — at the end of the 2025 regular season and then in the wild-card round. The Bears haven’t beaten the Packers three straight since 2005-06. They are favored to win at Lambeau Field for first time in 20 years.
Chicago’s defense has become a real strength. The Bears have played three straight games allowing 12 or fewer points. The last team to do that for four straight games was the 2017 Eagles, who would go on to win the Super Bowl that year.
