Brendan Allen proved that earlier tonight (Saturday, October 10, 2026) at UFC Vegas 122 LIVE at the Paramount+ Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada when “All In” scored a wild fifth-round submission of Christian Leroy Duncan in the main event.
Allen, who is ranked No. 4 in the UFC welterweight division, had a three-fight win streak on Saturday. The veteran contender was hoping to prove he’s still on the rise and looking for a title shot in the future, but he was up against a tall, tough striker who has won five in a row. Allen had to put everything together to get the win over Duncan.
While Allen didn’t make this fight pretty, he certainly set the pace throughout. He worked the legs, roped and worked on takedowns to get valuable top time. In the later rounds, Duncan regained his momentum and began landing punches. However, Allen returned the favor in the fifth round when he regained control along the cage and sank in the back air. Duncan fought like hell to break free and almost got knocked out, but he tapped out at the last second and Allen walked away with a huge win.
