Soldic bounced back from a shaky opening round to score Kalin Williams by unanimous decision at UFC 332 on Saturday in Salt Lake City. Former
KSW the champion recovered after Williams dropped him twice in the first round, controlling much of the final two frames.

Soldic entered the bout with a reputation for devastating knockout power, but has no regrets going to the scorecard against the experienced Williams, who he credited for his resilience after the win.
“I wasn’t in a rush. I just won,” Soldic said at the UFC 332 post-fight press conference. “I don’t want to prove that I have to kill somebody. I have to win and just show my skills and that’s it. He’s an experienced fighter. He was 16-5, so 21 fights as an amateur out of 33 fights. He had 11 fights on the big stage, so 7-4. You can fight one or two guys who fought in UFC1, but they fought in UFC1. It’s something else when he saw the crowd, the cage and the people.
“Robocop” had not fought since February 2025, when he last appeared there One championship. The Croatian is satisfied with his performance after the extended break.
“He took all my shots,” added Soldic. “I showed that I can wrestle and he threw a lot of punches, including a crazy high kick, a ground and a break, a left hook and a right hook. It was a good experience. I hadn’t fought in a year and a half. Three rounds. This fight means a lot to me because I see that I’m in five rounds and I see that I’m not always going to get tired.”
Soldic enters a deep welterweight division and owns a knockout victory over the former UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis.
