Former two-time Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion, Henry Cejudomade his boxing debut earlier tonight (Saturday, September 26, 2026) in the main event. Misfits boxing event which went down at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. Initially set to face Dean The GreatCejudo’s opposite actor and amateur boxer, Javon “Wanna” Walton of the shift who came in with an undefeated 3-0 record.
There was no early action to speak of as Cejudo took a while to get going. The same was true for Walton, which is understandable since he took the fight on short notice.
It was clear Walton had the speed advantage early and used it to get in and out and tag the Olympic gold medalist. But his success didn’t last as Cejudo began to take control and dictate the pace of the fight. After four rounds, “Triple C” had done enough to earn a razor-thin split decision win.
Check out some of the highlights below.
Cejudo looked pretty good in his boxing debut and it looks like it’s something he could commit to in the near future, especially if he can rebook his fight against Deen The Great. Don’t expect Zuffa Boxing to come calling anytime soon.
