After the new WWE x AAA Worlds Collide matches it seems pre-released by Allstate Arena Ahead of the event in Rosemont, Illinois, a new report has indicated that WWE is not going to air the show, at least not right away. There are currently no concrete plans to stream Worlds Collide, although many fans have speculated that it will be streamed on YouTube, where AAA’s weekly show airs in the United States.
According to Fightful SelectWWE sources said there’s a “good chance” Worlds Collide won’t air live at all, though that could change next week ahead of the Sept. 26 show. Notably, the WWE. announced the Rosemont show after AEW revealed it would be hosting AEW All Out at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. It is the first time that WWE will hold an event in the same venue, on the same day as AEW.
WWE sources told Fightful that as of Tuesday, Worlds Collide was going to be an in-house live event. A source said that if the show airs live or later, it will be on YouTube or Club WWE. WWE revealed this week that the Santiago, Chile house show coincides with where Stephanie Wacker captured the Women’s World Championship will be available to Club WWE viewers, the first since the service launched in July.
WWE teased in August CM Punk’s appearance at Worlds Collidesince the show is in the Chicago area. According to the Allstate Arena promotion, Punk will team up with Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano to face Dominic Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Omos at the event. The only match confirmed by WWE/AAA, however, is La Catalina defending her Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez.
