Former
Ultimate Fighting Championship the defending flyweight champion meets
Joseph Morales in the co-title of the year
UFC 4 night September 12 in Glendale, Arizona. He recently spoke about the changes he has made ahead of his upcoming match.
Brandon Moreno explains the mindset shift behind his Noche UFC 4 preparation
Moreno is coming off back-to-back losses Tatsuro Taira and Lonely Kavanagh. “The Assassin Baby” claims that working on his mindset has been the biggest change in his preparation this time around.
“It’s more about my mentality perspective,” Moreno said in a recent interview. “I think that’s a very common problem in this sport. Like, sometimes you’re your own worst enemy. I don’t want to make excuses or anything. I’ve been working on myself. I’ve been working on my mindset and my mentality.”
Moreno also acknowledged the stakes against Morales, who wants to take his seat.
“I’m trying to defend my place in the rankings and Joseph Morales is super excited and super motivated to try to take my position as well,” Moreno added.
“Sometimes you are your own worst enemy.”
