Conflicts in the Middle East continue, as do concerns for the safety of people in those areas. For WWE talent and staff, those anxieties came to a head when the company traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this weekend for the Crown Jewel.
Entering the country seemed a relatively smooth affair. Leaving it, however, was very troubling.

As for WWE, PWInsider: reported that WWE talent was “long gone” in the missile strike from Riyadh. Meanwhile, some other talent were believed to have flown in and out of the area. South Carolina served as a stopover for Sunday’s return to the United States.
PWInsider added that some WWE employees were still in Riyadh after the missile attack. As of this writing, however, no one is known to have been injured.
