Zuffa boxing has added another big name to it an ever-growing list of championsbecause Dana White and Co. has served as the reigning WBC middleweight champion, Carlos Adames according to a recent post on social media.
Adames’ record currently stands at 25-1-1 with four title defenses, which includes a tie with Hamzah Sheeraz last year. During his tenure, Adames, 32, has amassed 18 knockout wins despite his rather lackluster resume, though he claims that’s because people keep pressing him.
This means that perhaps with Zuffa Boxing’s goal of booking fights that fans want to see, Adames could get bigger names.
Adames now joins big star stars like Conor BennWBA and The Ring Cruiserweight Champion, Jai Opetaiawho also holds the Zuffa Division titleand Shakur Stevensoncurrent WBO and A ring junior welterweight titles.
