WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson released a heartfelt statement on Tuesday. After the death of AEW star Pacreal name Benjamin Satterly, formerly known as “King of the Cruisers”, Neville, in WWE. Johnson wrote on his Instagram page heartfelt note alongside the video message.
Rock said he wants to send his love and condolences to Satterly’s family. He said that he met Satterlee several times in WWE and shook his hand. In the video, he went on to say that as global as professional wrestling is, wrestlers are still a tight-knit group.
“Because we all share the same DNA, and that’s our love and our passion for the squared circle and performing for audiences around the world,” he said. “But when we lose one of our own, it hurts. When they are young and so talented it really hurts… My friend Tony Khan, I am so sorry for your loss. My friend QT (Marshall) and all the locker rooms, all the locker rooms, the men and women of AEW, I’m so sorry to anyone who is my partner who is sorry for your loss. I’m so sorry.”
Johnson handed over AEW and said the promotion is turning into a “phenomenal wrestling company.” He ended his video by once again sending his best wishes to Satterlee’s family and said that everyone who knew him can use his loss to guide them on how to live each day because we never know what’s around the corner.
AEW announced on social media Sunday night that Puck died tragically in his 40s. The star had just arrived competed last night at AEW All Outopening the show against national champion Andrade.
